Industrial automation refers to the process of controlling processes and machinery used in a variety of industries using autonomous systems by means of autonomous technology like computer software and robotics. There are four types of automation in Kenya: programmable automation, flexible automation, fixed automation and integrated automation. Gevition is a company that provides Industrial automation in Kenya as a service. One of the projects developed by Gevition as regards industrial automation was an Unmanned Weighbridge Control Systems. The objective of the project was to control and display traffic systems.
